@whooley: I also prefer GTS World Racer to Asphalt 4 after spending more time with both in the past day or two. It "feels" better.

I don't know - I didn't like this game at first; but after buying Asphalt 4 I prefer GTS World Racer.

It's more realistic than A4 (not saying much!) - if you like racing vs arcade silly nitro physics, it's the best (only) option on the iPhone.

I also haven't noticed any changes in the graphics. The car that you are steering is sill not moving threedimensional to an angle when drifting, the sky is still mirrored (you can even see that in the screenshot), the tracks are still looking very dull. There is no real challenge here. It also feels too slow. How about a boost? How about things you can collect on the track? How about some more interaction going on, airplanes flying in the sky, maybe some obstacles to avoid on the street? There is not enough motivation here that keeps you playing. It's a pity because I also like the controls (except for the "too flat message", it is quite irritating). This could be a great game, but there too much design flaws IMO.

The graphics have been updated? Have they? They look the same to me- same boring hills and tunnels. Why are the tunnels still marked out on the map (like we need to know) when it still doesn't show where the finish line is? Doesn't the dev think that's as important as the tunnel?
It's a shame as I like how this controls, but it's too easy, and gets boring very quickly. Who needs 60 odd tracks when you get bored after you've raced round one?

GTSWR still has some potential to be a more decent game than it is. It needs a lot more complex tracks(maybe some real world ones, that we all know and love), such as Suzuka, Jerez, Monaco, Estoril, Magny-Cours, Monza etc.
