Is the sound lower quality? Seems a little different, didn't notice anything else.

Did notice a weird bug where the craft slowed down (the craft, not the game) and the only way to speed it up, ironically, was hit the brakes for a few seconds and it ramped back up to full speed. Needless to say, I didn't pass the level so back to the start of the game..

I think the ship has a new design too.

I'm still waiting for an update with new game modes. That would really make it great.

Update now downloading. Says it fixes app stability and sound issues, plus adds an info screen.

I'm something I would call a casual gamer. But looking at all this shit which is flooding the AppStore I begin hating casual games, because they are either one-minute-puzzlers or a rip-off of the same game with more depth and fun.

Yup, review pretty much nailed it down. I realize my own ambitions of playing multi-player over 3G became a bias against the game, and I still have fun with it, but the restart to the first level is a constant slap in the face. Personally I don't care if my global score goes negative. These are people I will never know, whose flying/combat style will never become a part of the gaming experience.

Then again, like I said previously, this game wasn't aimed at experienced gamers. It was aimed at the same fluffy crowd that inspired thousands of puzzle games. That's why it's linear.

I just wish they'd stuck to the arena style instead. I would actually enjoy the game a lot more (given that they provide a calibration and sensitivity adjustment in a future update) if I could CHOOSE where to go next instead of being dragged down a linear path. I can't think of a reason why they wouldn't be able to add this as a mode later on...

I agree with you... i'll be waiting for a price decrease... I wish there was multiplayer, and you could fly wherever you wanted, not in a linear fashion..

@NotYou Glad you agree. Cause I know you liked it when you got it. For people who are wondering. There is a great game $9.99 in there, but with the current gameplay mode (highscore, start from level 1 only), I just can't get that excited by it.
