Down here in South Africa we have the lovely iphone 3G and a seriously crippled iTunes. No music. No movies. No tv shows. very few apps (comparitively) and even in that, NO GAMES WHATSOEVER!! Whats the deal...???!!! sob...sniff....sigh.

but in any event, as a game fan I can still follow whats going on and hope that these games will find their way to us soon. I'm very interested to see what develops especially from ngmoco. I just wish that Apple would allow games to be sold to all countries in which iPhone is available. Rolando looks to be awesome.

Somehow, Apple needs to make it easier for people to find quality games that they want. Developers aren't going to bother with making great games with 100+ hours of gameplay but for $20 if they don't think anyone will ever find it. Well... I suppose there's that one in a million designer who isn't in it for the money but simply for the joy of making and playing video games (read: making and living their dreams.)

How many years of evolution does the DS and the PSP have?

Come on, the iPhone and the App Store is still a little baby and right now is stabilizing. What we.ve seen so far are small developers with small ideas and with small budgets.

By the time the industry matures then we will start to play games with the iPhone's real potential.
