I like those animating clouds. They definitely add something to the look. Makes it harder to mask the limited draw-distance, but it's a small sacrifice to make for added awesomeness.

Wow. Just watched the YouTube video of it. Thanks for posting that Lost. Looks awesome. I want it. ..Agreed with mikeadams: that distance fog effect is pretty darned nice.

Definitely looks more F-Zero than WipeOut as far as ships and tracks are concerned, but the weaponry system feels more aggressive (more like WipeOut) to me. About time a good ship-racer turned up. We've got plenty of car racers, a good motorcycle one, a good powerboat one too. That's just about enough to keep me happy. (Tho a Waverace clone would be nice.)
