D'oh!

Actually you must have the "Auto-Switch" disabled so, when you pick up the far greater weapon the game does not auto switch to it AS YOU HAVE IT SET TO NOT AUTO SWITCH. Turn Auto Switch back on and you'll be fine.

I just want to share something regarding pricing in general: I have a strong feeling we may soon see the end of high quality games selling at 0.99-2.99. We probably won't revert back to the 9.99 common price when the app store was in its first few weeks, but we may soon see more of 4.99-7.99 games. Why do I say so? Well for a long time we've all been enjoying how competitive prices have gotten which lead to the 99 cents era. For a long time, 8 or 9 of the top10 games have been 0.99 or 1.99 games. And during those days I was thinking the only time this era would end is when a game priced significantly higher would be no.1 at the charts. Well right now The Oregon Trail (5.99) has broken the barrier, now at no.2, with MGS (7.99) following closely at no.5.

But regarding the pricing strategy, I agree that releasing a Lite Version first before making a price drop is a better long-term strategy than launching at a very low price and then releasing a Lite Version later on. But I'm pretty sure iDracula will eventually get back to the top 10. Nevertheless we should all be thankful that iDracula devs gave us early buyers the opportunity to buy low. I think had they increased to 2.99 a week or 2 after the launch, they would have still been no.1 the following days.

@Alan
Thanks! Yup it's working now. I always enable that option cause strategically, it's better not to autoswitch, right? FINALLY!!! Everything's working. And for all those mentioning crashes, v1.0 never crashed for me. And v.1.1 has never crashed as well.

Picked up iDracula during the first update. Incredible game. I just couldn't stop playing.
Get it. Even at $3 it's a steal.

this version is way too glitched...

maybe it's just me, but i can't resume a Wave Attack game, been having some slowdowns every now and then (like it was loading a sound fx file or something/loading a weapon)...

still fun though, even the 1.0 still rocks (i'm gonna wait another update, wave attack isn't fun if i can't resume my over 30min game sessions o_O)

I picked Dracula up the first day it came out at $0.99 - and even though it was the same level over and over again I really liked trying different combos of the perks. While the update has tons more features, aside from the new flame thrower and perks like armor, I'm not really finding myself playing anything other than survival. If they want to drum sales up again, I think they should put out the previous version again at $0.99 and call that the LITE version. Everyone is trying to come up with a strategy for the app store, and it seems like the sad truth is going to continue to be cheaper = more sales, regardless of what the game offers.
