Dave also contacted Leroi Moore and they began recording there first demo in 1991. The three hadn't played before then. In fact, Dave only knew Carter because Carter was in a jazz band that played at the bar that dave bartended at. The first ep was released in 1993, and it was a live release. Also, loldmb, I didn't mean the majority of people that bash dmb are jealous of the fans, but jealous of the sheer talent that the members of the band possess.
