FDG's 'Kryzer Prologue' Rotational Shooter Now Available

649970jpgFDG Entertainment has released their rotational shoot'em up game Kryzer Prologue [App Store] last night.

The game is a rather simple shooter set on a circular playfield. The ship circles around shooting enemies and picking up bonuses with a goal of survival. The game is timed with additional time bonuses provided for after destroying enemies. Accidentally crash into an enemy and that's a 30 second penalty.

I personally felt the gameplay was a bit too simplistic to hold my interest, but some other early forum reactions to the game have been positive including a recommendation from our own Big Albie.

    This reminds me of an arcade game I used to play. ..Nice visual style. I'll have to look at the gameplay footage when I'm at work and have bandwidth. :D

    Wow this game is really cool!
    Definately give it a try if you're into survival shooters. The rotating playing field adds a depth to the game that makes it hard to put down.

    No, KRYZER plays totally different. Please check the video.
    In KRYZER you play with only 2 buttons: +/- which will change the radius of your flight path.

    Kryzer Prologue is a game so professionally put together; I never considered myself a fan of the top-down shump genre , yet this game has me constantly coming back for more.

    FDG and Future777, thank you for continually bringing us quality on the App Store. I am highly looking forward to Kryzer 3D.

    For any fan of the genre this is a "can't miss" and even for those casual gamers, like myself, consider this as well.
