Yeah, Danny, I like "real" games. And by that I mean games that suit the platform. I played $9.99 for the lazy port of Assassin's Creed, thinking that somehow the price point meant the experience would be better than a lot of the 99¢ games out there. And that "game" is trash. It was a terrible DS game and an even worse iPhone one.

Glyder, on the other hand, which I bought for 99¢, was incredible and I ended up spending hours on it. One of many clever, creative 99¢ apps on my Touch. Don't fall for the trap of thinking higher price or brand name = quality.

Certainly seems impressive, but it looks like the hit detection is pretty sloppy at this stage- the player seems to hit enemies that he's not even aiming at. Hopefully they'll clean it up before it ships.

And it was the usage of the phrase "weaknesses" rather than "strengths" that blew your cover.

Again, trolling, quality trolling, takes some amount of skill. The skill troll trolls even when others think he/she isn't trolling at all. ;)

And consoles have the weakness of lacking keyboard/mouse, particularly mouse look.

Wanna know how console games overcame that weakness so FPS titles control as well as they do nowadays (though still not as good as kb/m control on PC)? They compensated for their "weaknesses" by implementing auto target lock. At first such a thing was god-awful on consoles, but over time, years in fact, the auto lock got better and better to the point now where console only FPS players don't even think it's there...but, of course, it is.

Lack of buttons won't be such an issue if and when developers get better at implementing auto lock in their FPS titles on this platform.

And the rest was just asinine Gameloft hating, misguided at that. There's much better things to hate Gameloft for (lack of updates, using virtual buttons as a crutch, removing options from games using similar engines, etc.)

Plus I'm not attacking you so calm down, I'm attacking your logic; if your going to hate Gameloft just because their iPhone game isn't as good as a PsP game...

Also yea id much sooner play Modern Warfare on my PS3 then my iPhone but last I checked I cant take my PS3 on a Plane, or Bus, or to someplace where I may have to sit and be bored for a lengthy period of time.

It's not surprising. They make hardcore games that real gamers are looking for. Castle of Magic, Terminator, Battlefield, these are games for gamers and they're actually good. So, people like them. Shocking.
