I looks pretty, but it's still a disappointment. The on-rails method removes one of the best parts of these games: the plotting of the route you are going to take against enemies. Flanking them, falling back, tricking them. The game makes have decided for me, and now it is one fantic shoot em up scene after another. Whereas Doom and Duke Nukem offer combat and puzzles, there is no time to breathe in this. Plus the tilt-based targeting is a further PITA. The weapons, music, sound, and graphics are top-notch but this game is plain no fun IMHO. I am having more fun with the new Duke Nukem 3D. Just got Doom Resurrection today for 2.99.
