I have beaten the island but havent got the star as of yet. To beat the course in one shot I did 100% power on a gradient of about 16.3.....that should do it

Update 1.1 is out which fixes the issue mentioned above where the melon would take too long to come to rest on ice. This free update is available now on the iTunes App Store! Try it out!

I have to agree with the review above. Later game is just take a shot and hope for the best. Seriously, the Tumbler is where I gave up. The courses LOOK cool, but they ought to be a tad more forgiving or open to strategy beyond "take a shot and pray it goes the right way".

I also agree with previous comments. After a while its just a bunch of hail mary passes... Gets boring if you dont succeed in the first 45-60 tries. Still worth a buck.

This is a fine game for $0.99, but I understand swarmster's complaint. I have holes-in-one on everything up to about the middle of the hard levels, and it is becoming more and more a battle to (for example) get 93% and 82.6 degrees and get the perfect amount of spin. Since I can't just type in the power and angle, half of the difficulty of this game is fighting with the inherent fuzziness of the touchscreen and taking very, very similar shots over and over again.

Nope, just get a hole-in-one on Clockwork (for example), and the next time you play that hole there will be a star above the upper gears. Then you hit the star with the melon to collect it.

Thanks! I just needed and idea of what to look for. Does it show up on the same course after you get the hole in one, or on the next one? OR is it the same course, but like a bonus round after the star shows up? See, I thought it was hidden or somethin.
