In my preview, I focused less on graphics, because the biggest changes are the control system, new cutscenes and hint-system.

Have no fear, the remastered cutscenes look crisp and are more dynamic. There are some additional 'special effects' in the introduction. Colours are vibrant and the game sucked me in, just as it did in the old days.

Cheers

Is it just me or do the new graphics look saddening to anyone else?

I look at the old graphics and I see rich, hand-drawn backgrounds full of character and ominousness.

I look at the new ones and see a soulless CG approximation, lacking both the striking color palatte and the convincing industrial shabbiness of the original.

I've also been a beta tester of the iPhone port of BASS and also confirms that this port of the game is awsome.. the controls in the game simply rocks and is way better than the ones out there already for iphone adventure games.

Hmmm... Now *this* one appeals to me. Monkey Island and Simon the Sorcerer seemed to only be going for a semi-basic port (with regard to the core mechanics of the game.) This looks more elegant.

Was kick-ass too. :D

I played the beta, and it's awesome. The new interface is great--easy to move around and works really well with touchscreen. Really fun game! Looking forward to playing the final!
