It will surely be interested to see how X2 football and Fifa 10 compare, as both are built by porting the Nintendo DS version of Fifa 2009. 2 Different teams evolving the same football engine in different ways. Fifa will win on features, but I'd expect most AI and gameplay improvements to come from X2, as it's made by the team that created the engine in the first place, so naturally they'll know it better.

It doesn't look "really" slow. Looks like a pretty good game pace to me.

What X2 Football gives is a great game engine which plays and functions really well. But where it does not do so well is in content, a lack of clubs and only a very basic cup/league mode with very small managerial control.

Real Football 2010 provides online play, international teams, a wide variety of club teams, an actual manager mode with championships/league promotions, "Enter the Legend" solo player control mode and etc. All of which are great entertainment and they make your iPhone football experience great. However Real Football's game engine really falls short of X2's amazing engine, graphics are ok, but not too good and the fluidity of the game only comes to be decent.

What FIFA 10 or Real Football 2011 or X2 Football 2010 (?) need to do, is bring an in depth football experience with a great fluid/fun football engine together.

That would be the ultimate. The perfect. The greatest iPhone sports game ever.

Well said mate (:
