You can choose to play offline when you first start up the game, which will get rid of the intrusive invites. You can get rid of the crashes if you turn off the music -- but I agree: it would be great if they fixed that problem, since the music is pretty nice.

Great game but crashes often in single player and while playing grand prix difficulty level is set way too high and annoying join dual battle messages pop up while playing the game making me lose a few times.

"...specially if your going at max speed and want to make a right turn… most likely you'll slam the wall" That's call paying at least a modicum of respect to physics -- something that I like in this particular kart racer. I have an idea for you: when you're about to take a 90º+ turn, slow down. Works like a charm. And, BTW, you never have to turn your device 360º to do anything; that's not how the accelerometer works. You are right that it's not perfect. The cool thing is that the developers have been gathering comments on the forum and are making revisions (some of them on the fly, since with the online component they can actually change game parameters without resubmitting.) It should be stated over and over again: as it stands today, Cocoto is the most polished Kart Racer on the iPlatform. Period. It's only one with online play. Period. And for now it's only .99.

Um, that's too many qualifying words there .. isn't this the *only* iphone online multiplayer racing kart game for the iPhone so far? Not that I disagree. It's a freaking awesome game. (And I haven't even tried the multiplayer.) Definitely well worth the asking price. IMHO any Mario Kart fan should definitely be checking it out.

Yeah, I have to totally disagree with that too. Krazy Kart is just *terrible* (IMHO of course) Unless you like (mono!) music and annoying sound design taken straight from the original 8/16 game, with old-Mario style 45/90 degree 8x8pixel-tile mostly-flat tracks. I'm not sure if it was the controls or badly designed tracks, but no matter how much I tried it was random-death time. No, Krazy Kart was a blight on the Mario Kart clone map. Please never mention it again.

Now *this* game, on the other hand, I actually found myself having fun with it. Lots of control options, easy to change them, quick loading tracks (and the tracks feel like N64/Cube/Wii era Mario tracks in design.) I wasn't winning at first, but I was still having fun because it didn't feel unfair. (and I didn't feel I'd been ripped off for a Krazy price.)
