Incredibles is one of my favorite movies and Brad Bird (the director) is amazingly talented, however... this game borrows FAR less than the incredibles did from comics such as Fantastic Four and Watchmen. I'm not even a comic fanboy and I know this.

To some degree this is homage, to some degree it is probably frustration with how these parts of super hero canon haven't made their way to the big screen. I'm GLAD that Brad Bird made the Incredibles because it is easily among the most satisfying and complete super hero movies ever made.

In other words, I see no reason to discount the fun this game may offer just because the super hero has a passing resemblance to another and the story line involves someone exploring their past as a super hero in an interview.

Just sayin'.

What some people would call a "rip off" i would call "inspired by", human thought and ideas are generated from a collage of sensory input we see, hear, taste and smell then store away in our little human brains over our lives, like Salvador Dali said "Those who do not want to imitate anything, produce nothing". Nothing is totally original!
There is no point in being to critical as the game is still in production.
I think the game looks fantastic and will stand apart from many apps on the app store.

Ha! Awesome. Great sense of humor.

I think it's a bit harsh to call it a ripoff of Incredibles. There were other superhero spoofs before Incredibles (The Tick, Mystery Men, etc...) And yeah, the art style looks similar; but then, the art style to the Incredibles borrowed a bit from stuff like Fleischer's Superman cartoons. So go figure.

Anyway, congrats to the dev on, at the very least, a hilarious trailer.
