Funny that the price increased from 2.99 to 4.99. I guess if you get a good review, you double your prices.

Bought it the moment it was out .. but it's taken me a while to actually try it. This is the perfect pick up and play RPG. I forgot how neat the old sound effects are, it's been such a long time since I played the Vic20 and c64 versions. Those sounds are a neat little reward element. Love them. And the presentation is immaculate ..I love the way the 'fog of war' parts disappear with subtle smoke-puffs as you explore. The smooth zooming is great too.

Sometimes on a mobile device we don't want our Rogue-like's to be overcomplicated. This hits the spot perfectly. (really well thought out 'scroll' inventory/spell management.)

Hi again, I'm going to wax lyrical a little more about this game: ) It's so well presented. I so wish all developers took this amount of effort in adapting existing games for a new platform (Battle for Wesnoth take note).
What I found in Rogue Touch, despite enjoying it (and still enjoying it) tremendously, was that there is no reason to collect gold. I think CD had plans to do something with it, but it never came to fruition, so it always felt to me like the last piece of the jigsaw was never put in its place.
I only say this, as I am now noticing, whilst playing SoF, how much I missed that in RT. Collecting gold and dropping them of at the temples for experience adds a lot to the enjoyment.

Hi there: ) I realize now what happened. If you pinch zoom fully out it won't zoom back in with a double tap. You have to pinch zoom back in. I didn't realize you could pinch zoom and must have somehow triggered it by accident after double tapping out, so when I double tapped back in it didn't work (confused yet...I am: /) So, in the end it was just my lack of know-how.
Cheers by the way for making this game. A work of genius: )

Much like Rogue Touch, Roguelikes are GREAT for the episodic update approach! I mean it is easy enough for the developers to toss in a couple of new items, creatures, or even new traps, without then having to re-shoot some elaborate opening sequence or re-hire voice actors to speak their new lines to factor in the new story twist presented by these new elements. ;-P

Bought it this morning before work, and only had time to play a single level. Loving it so far! I just have to finish RPG Quest: Minimæ first...

Two minor nitpicks though: it appears to play the sound effect for going down stairs even though sound is turned off, and on the title screen it'd be helpful it it said continue, resume, or something like that instead of "fast start".

Hey MrMuesli, glad you're liking it! So you zoomed out... using the double-tap zoom, I assume? Did you try pinch-zoom?
