This game is great if you're into similar tactics games from PS1/PS2 times. I'm enjoying it immensely.

Does anyone have some unlock codes for this? Because in the last game when I beat it, it gave me a code to transfer my file over to the next version. I wrote it don some where, but it's been almost 2 years, and i lost it somewhere, and I don't want to redo everything from the clickwheel version.

Has anybody thought of the obvious? That Square Enix may not be *able* to release a Final Fantasy to the iPhone because of contract obligations? The platforms on which they may release Final Fantasy content may well be restricted and held back by some big faceless corporation. Or is Square Enix all-powerful when it comes to the Final Fantasy franchise? Somehow I doubt it.

@fi2-shift

I think FF would sell great for the iphone and it seems like an obvious no brainer but I still think Square wants to see if they should even bother going through the hassle of creating or porting such a game in the first place. This game was essentially all ready for iphone conversion but as far as I know there are no phone ready FF games out there. This would mean that Square would need to invest more time and money into putting FF on the iphone.

If this game sells well though I think they would be better motivated to make that investment. Again, just a testing of the water to see if a bigger investment would make sense.

sorry, but as much as i love Square(sans Enix) this game has one fundamental problem: even if you accept that the music stuff is all bullshit (read: random character generation), why oh why must the fight sequences be so painful? Sony has to figure out how to make this Touch UI work, because this is ALMOST a playable game. but way way way too many clicks in the fight sequences.
