Like Lions I was worried about not having the ear but I decided to go for it anyways.. It took me a few levels to get used to what to listen for, and after a bit of practice I got the hang of it. The game has some gorgeous graphics (as we've all seen) and the sounds are great. Compared to all the other rhythm/music games this one is a real gem. This is one fun game!
