I am sure though that you are not paying any attention to the background mystery of what happened to the family that formerly lived in the mansion. The style of this game is outstanding. The music is awesome as well. It is an experience, and not just an action game. $2.99 is such an insanely great deal too, particularly when compared to the $50-60 price point of console games. If it's not your thing, then trying to "solve the mystery" just won't do it for you. But exploring, trying to find clues to give you an indication as to what happened, is fun as hell. BUY IT! It gets such rave reviews and is recognized as one of the best games on the platform. However, I had a really bad case of arachnophobia - no joke. It super sucks and I have no idea how it came about.
