Why is it so bad to start again?? Think arcade. The point is to try and get as far as you can with the lives you have. What would be the point if it let you start from your Game Over location with full health? You'd finish the game in a few minutes, and then what...

This game is big deception for me. The graphics are really amazing, this style i like very much. Runs very smooth on my Iphone 3g. But the game is too repetitive. Like Bruno said there are only a few enemies and stupid bosses. And wtf is with you have to start all over. I had two levels to go. This made it an instant delete for me.

yea i might be in the minority but the action and pacing is a bit slow and truly i just found the pacing in other dual-stick shooter faster because i honestly believe dual-stick shooters were meant to be frantic (ie. Robotron, Smash TV, and Alive 4 ever) but i mean different people like different stuff

OK, he might be the only one (until now ;) ) but he presents quite legit reasons - if you judge it strictly on its own merits & not compare it to Minigore and/or other 2-stickers, you might it even find it somehow lacking (for 2.99)

I've only played a few levels of Guerilla Bob, but I can say right now that I still feel Minigore is the better in terms of design and controls. While GB may have a fancy story (which, at least from just the very first part, seems kinda lame and half baked) and more weapons/bad guys, I feel that Minigore will be a better game over time. That really is the only issue. If the Minigore devs had enough resources to pump out more updates, they would have a much better game. So unfortunately you have to sacrifice a little bit either way. This is of course only based off my 20 min play time, so i'll most likely change my mind about a lot of things as I progress. I'm glad both devs seem to be teaming up. Maybe they could work on a project in the future?

In my opinion - if people really are interested in some kind of a storyline - they should have it.
If it increases fun and gives the feeling of immersion... Why not!
Just not my personal cup of tea. But there are games for many different tastes! And although such a storyline means nothing to me it does not destroy anything for me :.)
