Missile Command is one of those game designs that never really "aged" much in terms of filling that quick play arcade niche.

What I'd really like to see, though, is an iPhone/touch version of the Atari Jaguar's Missile Command 3D's VR mode. Check youtube for vids on this. Imagine Missile Command, but in 1st person viewpoint from the missile silos themselves. And there's boss fights against dragons and giant sea serpents. Very cool update to the classic game.

This looks like the only Pangea game that may have gotten an improvement (quicker and easier shots) when translated to the iDevice. I got the same game for my Mac in the very last desktop title Brian Greenstone made: Pangea Arcade.

It's a shame he kind of abandoned that platform for the iDevice. I for one, haven't been all that impressed by those offerings as they're mostly simple ports of his already existing line-up of games with a tendency of having worse controls, too.

Being a child of the 80s I enjoy the classic arcade games such as Missile Command, Battlezone, Tempest, etc.

I was thinking of buying Atari's own Missile Command, but I couldn't see paying $5 for that when there are so many similar games for only a buck.

This is a very good take on Missile Command. The only negative is the "Game over" message is rather lame compared to the arcade's "the end" with flickering explosions.

The game looks very nice, but I just don't understand the thinking in leaving out online high scores in a new game these days. You would think a company like Pangea would understand that people like this feature.

Not to mention the fact that there are SOOO many ways to achieve it that involve very little work for developers.
