That's correct. I wasn't going by name, I just meant "the UK's navy". Probably shouldn't have capitalized the word navy.
Probably closer to lifeguards at a swimming pool :) I don't think I've actually seen evidence of our navy even existing.
Strangely enough the same doesn't seem to apply for the armed forces. My friend totally failed to get into the UK Navy but passed the US exams...
