Very good idea would be to upgrade your lvl 1 mechs with the credit you get xD. Mine have atk + 50, def + 50, and hp + 100%. =4500 credits
Yeah def get a bunch of mines, spread your guys around different mines. I think the mothership belongs in combat, especially at the beginning....
