Yes, nice vid. I like the back drops and atmosphere. The narration is a real nice touch and adds to the immersion of the game. The effects need to be tweaked. Seeing the zombies just fly in the air without exploding just seems strange but as long as the game is immersive and not easy, that's all you can ask for in a mobile zombie game.
The game does look good, the sound effects and narration are great. I'm hoping that the difficulty is hard and the game is a challenge. There is that one point in the video at 1:04? where 2 of the zombies come forward at GI Joe there, and then they stop lunging at him at turn to each other, as if to say" What are we doing?" then they go back to lunge at him again. It might be a glitch?? but it's still great and a purchase for me. I just hope the AI is good.
IMO zombies should have less HP and deal more damage. I'm not a fan of slow-paced zombie shooters that are difficult just because killing enemies takes a lot of time. That's why I kinda hated Dead Trigger, but enjoyed COD WAW Zombies and BO Zombies.
I was just playing CodWAW zombies the other day, ( the Der Riese map) and it still plays excellent today. The atmosphere, graphics, and pace of the zombies are still great. CodWAW zombies still the king of zombie games on iOS!!
+1 to this! It's a shame CODBO zombies was a huge disappointment. I hope WAW gets widescreen support someday.
I was surprised at the way BO zombies turned out. It was a much bigger file but inferior in every way to Codwaw. I still really like the maps in BO Zombies but the optimization is just much better in the original zombies game.
Thanks for all of the kind remarks and feedback. We have taken notes and most everything mentioned thus far is planned to be updated at some point. We can assure you that this game is not slow by any means (quite fast tbh). The base health for our enemies are never increased, so by the time you have top tier weapons, you are able to blast through hordes as they flood towards you. This is a very progressive based game. Enemies will start moving faster in larger groups as the levels continue. It is indeed a very very challenging game with tons of strategy involved.
No sir. We decided early on to avoid any special cases in the controls, such as those, and rather put all of our effort into a highly optimized/polished setup for the fast paced gameplay. We are very confident in the responsiveness and simplicity we developed. It is 'possible' however, that we will have level pickups/items in later updates to have some fun stuff with
Excellent choice not to add those. That's what I appreciated with games like CodWAW where the speed was perfect and you didn't need a sprint button, which in my opinion kind of hinders the flow of the game.
Watched the vid again. Two things: 1) You have some really nice animations there. 2) Shell casings from the guns? I didn't spot any.
Thanks JBRUU. Most of our weapons have some sort of casing ejection. If you watch the second to last clip with the shotgun and wolves, you can see shells ejecting. There should be casings out of the UZI.. might be a small bug! So thanks.
Well, maybe I just didn't spot them. Best of luck with Infected Wars my friend. Here's hoping for a May release
This definitely won't be in at release however understand our controls are dynamic. You can put your fingers anywhere pretty much on the left side for the joystick and it will pop to where your thumb is for example. You can fire anywhere on the right side of the screen pretty much as well. Same goes for turning obviously. I think you will find the controls are extremely forgiving and not annoying like most mobile shooters where you have 20 buttons all over the place and are accidentally tossing grenades around and what not.
General Jah or TylerWalters, Have you guys decided on a price yet? and what is the download size? Thanks for the info.
The download size will be around 600 mb. The price will be disclosed when we have a release date set with apple.
