    Hi everyone,

To celebrate the launch of our new game AirStrike Defense, we'd like to kick things off with a contest!

    Here are the rules:
    • Have an OpenFeint account (or create a new one)
    • Finish the full campaign with OpenFeint enabled
    • Post a message here announcing that you've completed the entire campaign, and include your overall score in your post. You will also need to post or PM us your OpenFeint account name to verify your scores.
    • The first person to post here announcing they've won, and fulfills all requirements, is the winner!
    Prizes:
-> $50 iTunes Gift Card to the 1st player to complete the game
-> $25 iTunes Gift Card to the 2nd player to complete the game, and beat the overall score of Winner 1
-> $15 to the 3rd player to complete the game, and beat the total overall score of Winner 2

...and of course each winner will receive total bragging rights :) Can you quickly master the game and beat out everyone else to be the first to win?

Note: Every mission score needs to be submitted to OpenFeint for your entry to be valid! Don't forget check out our website, follow us on twitter, and become a fan on our facebook page!

The game will be on sale for only $2.99, so you have a good chance to make some money ;-)

We added a lot of fun achievements that are separate from the overall mission goals, so there's a lot of variety even after you finish the game!

We need everyone to submit all of their mission scores through OpenFeint so that we can verify the win.

If NZ has had the games for hrs now, isn't it kind of unfair?

It says in the first post that the contest begins at 12:00am EST, when it should be available for everybody.

If someone in NZ downloads it and plays it, they won't be eligible for a US gift card, so there's no advantage to those with early access.

No winners yet... although someone is really close to being the first! Off to get some much needed sleep, will check back in soon.

Once completing the game, remember to post a message in this forum to make it official and declare your victory!

It's official! Mission 20 is impossible! I've tried for hours. There's no way to win. I finally got OK at clearing the first wave, but the next set has too many fast ships and the map is just too small. I think I'm done trying for now. :( I played until 3am last night (had to get up at 6am for work). Then, at work, I've completely drained my iPhone battery with another couple hours of play. So, all together, I've probably played for 6 hours. It's a shame because the game is great otherwise. I'm might give it a another try later. Good luck to whoever may be trying for the gift card. If you thought the rest of the levels were hard, you've not seen anything until you get to Mission 20.

In regards to the game, it's really excellent. The graphics are silky smooth (3GS) and very nice. The backgrounds and menus look great too. The animation of the airplanes and ships is really good. The touch controls do get a little dicey. Sometimes I'll draw a line from a ship, only to have it back up before heading in the direction that I intended. I think it has to do with where I start the line, so maybe I'll get used to it eventually. Overall, though, the need to manage both your ships and your airplanes makes for some frantic action. The game is definitely a challenge. The difficulty ramps up fast! By the time I hit the middle missions, I was having to replay them 15-20 times before I finally finished each mission.

I'd definitely recommend it to any line drawing fans (Flight Deck, Flight Control, iBomber). It also reminded me a bit of the Xbox 360 game Battlestations: Midway with the way you manage both your ships and your planes, so if you liked that kind of game, you should really like this one.
