Nach Erhalt des Auftrags (Laufschrift-Textzeile ganz oben) auf der Karte (zu erreichen über die Sinnbild-Schaltfläche oben rechts, dort auch eine Zusammenfassung der Missions) das Ziel (rotes Kreuz oder Feuer-Symbol) markieren, dann auf „Resume“ tippen, abheben und dem roten Pfeil folgen. Weitere Schaltflächen: Landen/Starten, Rettungsseil, Löschwasser; „Hover“: präzisere Steuerung, da langsamer (hier wird dennoch ein kompletter zweiter Finger benötigt). Zusätzliche Herausforderung: Das Ziel wird nicht immer groß und deutlich symbolisch angezeigt, manchmal muss man die Personen suchen (dargestellt durch ein komplettes und leuchtendes Hotpixel in der Karte). Sprit- und Wasservorräte beachten, auch Zeit und freie Plätze (dazwischen die Basis ansteuern) sind begrenzt. Nach den erfüllten Aufträgen (Medaillen) wird eine neue Spielrunde und manchmal ein leistungsfähigerer Hubschrauber (im entsprechenden Menü über die Pfeiltasten unten auswählen) freigeschaltet.
