Any way to stop that annoying pop up everytime I connect my iPod?

Windows keeps telling me a camera is connected. For a start, there's no camera on the damn thing, but also when I connect other devices there's always an option to "Do Nothing" then I can tick the box to always do that action. For this there's no "Do Nothing" option, only a bunch of programs I don't want to open.

There's gotta be a registry setting or something I can change to disable this crap, even if I had a camera I'd rather manage this stuff manually.

I'm interested too know the answer as well. I've got an iPhone and that window bugs the crap out of me. I'm sick of seeing it and wish there was an option to always cancel that action so I never see it again!

How to close the window wasn't really the question ;)

Oh my bad you must be getting a different popup then because I get one when I connect my iPod saying Windows has detected a camera or something like that but I just close the window and nothing else happens.

    On xp at least...

My computer, Right click ipod/iphone, click properties, Click "event" tab, then finally click "take no action".

    Hope that helps!

Thank-you! It worked! Seeing and then closing that window every single time I connect my iPhone for the last 18months has been driving me nuts! This has made my day. Literally! Thanks again.

Oh and thanks MidianGTX for asking in the first place. I just realized I should have asked about this months ago :)
