App info is currently processing and/or the app is not yet fully available for sale on the US App Store.

Hm, what does this offer that AppShopper doesn't already do?

    Hey guys

    Thanks for your comments!

So you asked what does this offer that's different?
First we go out and work with developers who's apps are for the most part paid apps on the app store and by working with us, the apps are reduced to free. AppFreeway users receive quality apps.

There are other apps out there that do things similarly, but we really focused on the quality of the app itself and the apps we showcase.

Something developers will like is tracking and stats. We deliver stats on how many people clicked on each of the apps. So if you're running a campaign, these stats help track the success. That's something that's really missing from a lot of the other services. Also there's the flexibility of changing the main image and including a video demo which has been proven to increase download rates.

Keep the comments coming and please feel free to share the app!

So what would make Developers go with you over the more reliable and popular, FreeAppADay?

2 main things differ between us and the other guys. First our pricing, especially not since we're rolling out at a very low introductory price and second, the inclusion of videos in our app really lets your apps shine.

Of course FAAD had to start somewhere, as do we. But with time, good quality apps, support and of course help from guys like you, we can make it happen. We work with people who genuinely like our apps and want to introduce it to their friends and so on....

You have to remember, this whole industry is in its infancy, we're all just taking baby steps when it comes to app development and getting our apps out there. So in my opinion, the only way to succeed is working together to help each other. That's the way i've worked online for the past 10 years and it's how we'll do it for the next 10 with apps.

On that note, if you have killer apps, let us feature them for you :)

PLUS - I'll always be here to answer your questions.

The statistical side sounds great. As do the videos of the apps.

The thing about all these free app sites FAAD, OpenFeint, DailyAppDream etc is that with an accurate app-price tracker, one doesn't need any of them. You'll be alerted as soon as something is free, or it will be listed where it's easy to find.

I use appshopper mostly, although it's a shame their app importer doesn't work for 90% of people including me.

On my iPod, I use App Ticker which I find gets the sales much quicker than appshopper. So quick, that sometimes the app is still being modified, so you have to wait to download it.

I picked up this AppFreeway app as I like to keep my options open. I'm interested to see how it develops. Publicity for this kind of thing normally spreads fast. Especially when a link to the giveaway site is added to the app description.

Best of luck and thanks for making it. :)

That's exactly where the difference is. We don't showcase apps that have gone free. We actually reach out to developers and create agreements with them so that they go free because of AppFreeway.

Other apps work similarly, but since there's so many apps out there we each give our users different apps. Thanks for the good feedback. We'd love to hear more from you guys on what you'd like to see added to improve the service, from a developer's perspective.

For those who missed the link Here it is once more. AppFreeway on the App Store.
