Lately i have noticed that many apps know when they have been cracked. (i was pm'd the screen shots of the errors received, i don't use cracked ipas). I am currently working on my own game for the app store and was wondering how to implement a "security" feature like this in my app. I was thinking it was made with the missing DRM file that is deleted during cracking but i am unsure. If anyone could provide some help i would greatly appreciate it.
I have read many threads on this, with developers suggesting its not worth it due to the fact that the crackers now have ways of patching the cracked version... Its up to you, but it will eventually get cracked by someone Not sure how its done, something about using plist but here http://arstechnica.com/apple/news/2009/05/iphone-developer-shares-pirated-app-numbers-and-thoughts.ars http://www.icombatgame.com/2009/05/08/my-experience-getting-owned-by-app-store-pirates/ Hope this helps Ahhh after more research this should help alot http://thwart-ipa-cracks.blogspot.com/2008/11/detection.html
