Anywayyyyyyy...there's this game going out called Aralon: Sword and Shadow. We should talk about that. Yea, let's do that.
Theres a day/Night cykle in the game, so how do you keep track of time? Could it be bosible to add clocks around in the World of aralon? In town squars and City centers, in stores and such? I Think that could be cool.
If you mean tower (public) clocks, they didn't arise in the west till the late renaissance, so it might come across as a tad anachronistic. But I guess magical clocks wouldn't be out of the question. In general, people in the middle ages told time by the position of the sun, if at all.
They should have magic sundial watches, like you know how sundials are stationary? well this one would magically turn the right way all the time
Does anyone know: it appears you can join guilds and...gangs?? Do these organization have their own quests available that let you get higher in rank etc. and provide a cool way to get better weapons/equip/magic? (yes, like the TES games)
Agreed, he's probably spanish, he also said 'Ingles' which means English in spanish, while english in french is 'Anglais'
Allthough Denmark is a fairly small country, the people there have big hearts! Viva la Denmark!....im Danish About the clock works, i Can se the issue with time diference between middle ages and the clock invented, however, aralon is not documentory game rather a fantacy game, so a magical fantacy World might have clock works and other mechanical devices along side magic, that dit not exist i our middle age! Besides, would anyone in here be able to tell the time of day i Real life? Let alone on a 3 inch phone screen?
plus adding a clock in the city would probably look nice, but if you're out adventuring you will not have any sense of time. If time is really necessary then do it like Oblivion when you're in the map screen - date and time.
Single player, and I believe they're looking to support 2G and above. @Pylesrm: beta testers have been asked to keep mum about the game, so you won't hear much.
