Don't worry, the game itself was pretty good, altho with the new graphics I'm sure it will be even cooler!
When I heard of the contract I was very mad and this is why.. I like when new devs make their own stuff and I like seeing them grow. Yes I know they built the whole game storyline etc but i don't know I'm kinda glad that it will look better and now it's getting more hype. I will still buy this but it just got me worked up alittle..
Seems like you have issues to resolve . Just to be clear, this is very much a partnership between individual developers -- no corporate bigwigs involved. It's a matter of a developer understanding their strengths and weaknesses and finding collborators who can fill the gaps to create the best game possible. It's difficult to understand why anyone would have a problem with that.
There are branching dialogues, but I don't think any of us got too far into the story -- we had to restart several times with new builds -- so it's not clear how much of a difference the forking paths made. Where choice made the biggest difference was in choosing quests and paths (do I take a ship to town, or do I chance going on the road; do I go into that cave; etc.)
Looks like my card has only a few months left to live... loads of great-looking upcoming games, and this one looks like one of the best.
Please make it like gothic...I do not want a world in which everything is unlively.Morrowind and Oblivion were great, but they never reached up to Gothic 2. Are there any gameplay infos yet? Developers...You have an artist of Morrowind. Please keep up the creature design; it is great. But one question; Will the game further be like Gothic or an elder scrolls title ? Is there a possibility to make map sections a bit bigger ? Or maybe ONE big map without loading times ? Thanks for answers
I recon that they should try to copy final fantasy 13's crystalist. Where you use experience to develop your character. Where at certian points. You gain bonus' like an advanced general level ( so you know your characters development) and gain things like gaining more hp str points, or a new skill. Final fantasy has really perfected themselves with character development in their rpg games, and I recon it would ad a dimension to the game. Also being able to develop other roles ( but at a cost of like double or tripple experience requirements for development). It would make the game more fun to play- getting max stats in all roles, that could hours of gameplay. Sorry if it's a big paragraph. I'm on my iPhone
What do you see as being the biggest difference between Morrowind/Oblivion and Gothic 2? In my mind they are much more similar than they are different. The combat system, perhaps? Aralon has elements of both, but is not exactly like either. Think of mixing them together and sprinkling a little World of Warcraft and Dungeon Siege on top.
I want this game to be like Twilight Princess, where there is no leveling up that is always a pain try to get leveled up before you can kill the monsters and I want it one big map where you can go where ever you want and do what ever you want once agian like Twilight Princess. and the last I hope is diffrent from raven sword is it should be more fast paced. on raven sword you jump and it takes 5 sec. to hit the ground make it a little faster and hope you get a horse they make RPGs fun really want this game bad!! can anyone show screen shots of the beta? thanks
