Lol. Massive open world with no bugs. That would be funny.

That screenshot that Borgqueenx posted isn't Aralon- that's some other (non iPhone) game.
Check the first page for some real screenshots.

Being someone who does not like Elder Scrolls much would I like this. My problem with Elder Scrolls was complete lack of direction, I don't mind open world games where you do what you want but I like a little direction or I get bored.

Only Josh and team know the answer.

It depends on whether you like open world, fantasy rpg titles.

With a main quest and side quests.

One can assume the game will offer direction, but it is up to the player to dictate their own path.

Wasn't sure if any beta testers could help. I like the open world games, Oblivion was fun but after a while it feels like I'm just doing random things because it didn't feel like there was a main quest. Is there going to be a lite version of this so I could try it out?

Beta testers have been asked not to discuss the game in open forums. Without giving any details, though, there is a central story/quest in the game, as well as sidequests -- some of are involved enough to almost feel like alternate main quests. But we're not talking about a JRPG here where you guide a well defined character though a clearly delineated story. In a game like Aralon you can choose at what pace you play the main quest, and there are plenty of distractions to keep you busy.

Frankly, a lite version would, by definition, give you such a small slice of the game that I don't think it would be that useful.

Fallout new vagas is an exstreamly cool game, but bug free, oh god no, i have seen scopions and other creatures coming at me with only there head sticking up from the Ground, and me getting stuck by falling in to a "hole" that was not even there.

    Oh wait.... Were you jocking?

No he wasnt joking, New Vegas is the most bug-free game I've ever played. Those weren't bugs you came across, they're design choices.

Design choices? No, there were alot of bugs, it was still a great game though and hopefully Aralon will be as bug free as possible
