I have a question! Will there be a strategy guide or something produced to accompany the game? You know the sort - detailing enemies and quests and stats and locations and maps and items etcetera etc &c. ? ta in advance!
I guess for the same reasOn that people falsely accuse some people of giving false information. It was stated in the article on the front page of TouchArcade that the estimated approval and subsequently the release date would be about December 16th.
I doubt it, like one other guy said maybe a wikia but they don't make strategy guide for us iOS people.
I would agree. Sure, Oblivion looks better. That's to be expected. It's a console/pc game. What I've loved about Aralon vs. Oblivion, has a lot to do with equipment and gear. Oblivion was limited in it's scope. Oblivion gave only variations in appearance from rags to glass armor. Aralon, has a lot more variation when it comes to what types you can equip, selection wise. There also is a lot more variation, in the places you'll see and adventure through, in Aralon. This game is first rate.
Just wanted to say - wow. We are the #1 most viewed upcoming game thread in the history of Touch Arcade. Not sure what that means, but in some ways its cool. I listened to the Touchgen podcast just now about Aralon and it was clear that they like it. They said Infinity Blade and Aralon are like apples and oranges - but you should buy both. Ok back to work here..
And well-deserved too, congrats! Apple needs to get its priorities straight and approve this app already.
just watched the so called "compatetion"s preview on there thread, must edmit, its kinda disapoining, i think there tech demo were better then the acutal game they seem to delever! i had at least expected free roam like aralon, but nooooo pre-scripted point and click options only, guess they expected graficks to take the game high, and forgot about the gameplay! they say its an action/adventure RPG styled game, i only saw a hack'n'slash game with good lokking grafics. don't think im gonna buy it after all. at least aralon dilevers what they say they delever, and i cant wait for it!!! THAT is instant buy for me! no doubt about that! guess this post isn't relavant, sorry guys!
I'm beyond excited for this - finals are next week for me, however, so I won't have a change to play much seeing as my nose will be glued to the books. Regardless, a day 1 purchase. Just the thought of an open-world, free roaming RPG (sorry Xenome, but you're about to be dethroned) makes me salivate. I've been lurking since this thread's inception, and read that there will be flying mounts. Does that mean we can freely direct them, or are they limited to a few set points? Can we land anywhere? Just some niggling questions. Otherwise, I wait in anticipation for the day apple decides to release this game. Great job to everyone at CM and GT!
The game has been submitted and the developers are hoping for a mid-December release -- obviously it's not completely in their hands. An HD universal version is being released, which is reported to also work on 2nd Gen iPodTouches but has not been thoroughly tested for them.
Was it? Realy? Why? I just get angry whene one posses powerfull technology and let it wither in pride. Like Sony and there minidisc. Is it my poor spelling thats a problem or do i not make any sens?
What? i thought app is universal when it comes out. So does that mean it won't be universal till the app comes out?
Just reread what I wrote and I guess it's a bit confusing. Aralon HD, which is Universal and thoroughly tested on iPad, iPhone 4, iPodTouch 4th Gen, iPhone 3GS, and iPodTouch 3rd gen, was submitted to Apple and is awaiting approval. This version is also reported to work well on iPodTouch 2nd gen devices, but was not thoroughly tested on them.
