Is there going to be some more advertising going on for Aralon? Maybe a trailer or something. Otherwise I can't see any advantages in waiting for Thursday.
There's supposed to be climbing though, last I heard, if it's been implemented. I'm wondering how predictable the NPCs are. Such as if you go through an area will they always be in the same place doing the same thing and attack you the same way, and do they re-spawn at some point?
Josh said earlier that it was 4 months until he had seen all of the content in the game. With that in mind, in addition to the fact that they have been adding content, I'm sure that this game will have a great deal to do besides the main quest. =)
It's been said several times in this thread that their is no jumping. So unless they added it very recently, I don't believe you can jump.
That would be amazing if they had daily schedules where they performed tasks (like we have seen in the Elder Scrolls series). Lots of content is what I like to see in free-roaming games. Not however when its cheaply designed, loosely fitted together, and random. I'm guessing not because your able to move by tapping so that might get confusing to control. Oh I see thanks!
It's not too much of a grind to level, really. There are several modes based in play style. Casual: enemies have 70% health and you gain more xp faster. Normal: normal health and leveling. Hard: Enemies have more health and leveling is slower. Hope that helps.
Does anyone know if, for instance, a mage's spell's casting time is increased if you get hit while casting it by an enemy as found in games like World of Warcraft and such??
Yes you can. Bah what am I saying. I have to have this game soon. Sucks I have to wait a whole damn week nearly. Hope I don't impulse buy something else! *nudges devs* I am just giving you guys shit. The anticipation is just killing me. You will net your $6.99 the very instant you let it go Thursday.
I would like to know this as well, though I will probably go with the Hard setting. If it's not changable I might go with the Normal setting first playthrough, as I can see this game eating up more than 3 playthroughs with all the classes.
Excuse my ignorance, but for someone with a 3G, do I buy the HD version or a normal version? The onethat pops up under search is Aralon: Sword and Shadow HD, and I wasn't sure if that was strictly iPad or what. Thanks!
