I will not even entertain this with a comeback response as to why, but you just proved why adding multiplayer is a bad idea. The comment about you being an "idiot" was spot on in my opinion. It is "idiotic" to take the time just to complain over a simple thing like multiplayer when it was stated from the get go Aralon would not have it. Take the compliment for what it is, it wasn't directed towards you. Next time, think before you decide to hit reply.
You're going to end up having a nervous breakdown if you react this strongly to being called names on the internet. Part of me wants him to call you an idiot again to see what you follow your implied threat with.
Totally agreed. What better way than to type Aralon in really big words with different colors: ARALON WILL BE AWESOME! Also, thnx for having my back guys. Really appreciated.
How about a December 14 launch so Aralon has a huge chance to hit #1 grossing and make its presence before more well-known names such as NOVA 2.
I believe that THIS rpg needs a multiplayer. I cant wait any longer for Gaikai (Not sure whats available on OnLive) or that WoW future clone by Quantum squad. This game itself looks like a WoW single player clone, which is a good thing. So all we need is the multiplayer, then its perfect! Reply With Quote
Because NOVA2 and the other games may take the hype away from Aralon. I'm not saying that it will, but it may. Plus, Apple updates their 'New & Noteworthy' lists on Thursday, so if they see a bunch of downloads for Aralon, they will feature it.
Look, I won't even go into the whole single-player vs multiplayer debate, as it's purely based on opinion. But aside from maybe some sort of multiplayer arena, adding multiplayer to this game would either require a massive amount of effort that would not be worth wasting on an already released game. OR it will be terribly implemented and downright lame. If you'd rather play Wow than Elder Scrolls that's fine with me, but adding multiplayer to Aralon is a terrible idea. EDIT: Also, for the record, anyone who calls this a single player Wow clone either is a wow fanboy or simply ignorant about rpg's in general.
No offense to quantum squid, but this looks way better than what they are doing. Just saying. Also Thursday release sounds pretty good. Thats going to be my last day of school before break so I can stay up all night playing Aralon instead of studying for finals
Here's some sanity for you: I'm looking forward to this game. I'll buy it when it comes out and then post some impressions in the approprate thread. In my long and fairly average life I've played many, many games including a lot of single player RPGs and a few MMOs. My impressions of this game will be just as valuable (or as pointless) as anyone else's. Because, no matter how it makes any of us feel, what we're discussing here is a relatively inexpensive video game.
I got questions: 1-Will you make expansion packs with new areas and new uber weapons? 2- What is the lvl cap of the game?
Where the Hell is ARALON?!!!!!: http://www.appolicious.com/games/articles/4310-the-next-angry-birds-five-iphone-games-positioned-to-be-breakout-hits-in-2011
Aren't you the "idiot" who made the fake Aralon announcement and was in time-out one day? Too bad you haven't been banned, ninny. And stop your ridiculous behaviour, we don't need troublemakers like you. Start acting mature.
Since nobody has answered my question yet, I'll ask again: Will Aralon support multiple languages or will it just stick to English as the developers' mother tongue?
Damn, Angry Birds 2 and Cut the Rope TOGETHER are still far away from Aralon. I mean, these are mini-games, how could they ever beat a "complete" game with a real story and deep gameplay? Okay, I have not played Aralon yet because I'm just a little customer, but I'm sure Aralon will not disappoint anyone (not like Infinity Blade did )
well josh always ignored this question so the answer is no but ravensword was easy to understand Josh: think about lowering price for ravensword? or make it free for launch of aralon
It's not that bad, as you said, most video games are quite easy to understand. But, Josh, if you think about creating support for other languages (maybe in a future update), don't hesitate to send all the lines of Aralon to me, I will translate them into German.
