Any game that features a vendor called Rat Donalds should probably not be taken very seriously . I though it was part of its charm. Aralon is not totally humorless, but it doesn't have any "break the fourth wall" moments (that I've seen, anyway).
Lol. But, you've said that the world is 10 times bigger than Ravensword, but how about hours of gameplay compared to Ravensword? IMO ravensword was over once the main story was finished, as from there it wasnt many quests left. Will there be quests available after the main story that wasnt available before in Aralon? That would be cool.
I would also like to know. Are there series of side quests? Finishing A triggers B and B triggers C, etc.
There is one --- kind of like an epilogue. If I had to guess, I would say that the main quest takes up 30-40% of the questing in the game. And yes, side-quests can be multi-part and extensive, especially the ones associated with the guilds.
Does the 30 hour figure we've been given for gameplay refer only to the main storyline? Or does it refer to the total amount of questing available in the game?
Ten times the area. If the map were 10 times as long and wide, it'd be 100 times the area of the first game. I suppose it could be ten times the length and exactly the same width, but that would be a very odd map. If the map has equal sides, it'll be a little over 3 times the linear dimensions (length/width) of the old map.
I would also like to know where the 30 hours comes from. Great! I hate having nothin to do after I finish a game. Welcome to the club.
I'm curious about this too. Can a warrior, Mage, or rogue wield a bow if it has the correct stats? Or say a ranger weild a sword? Thanks!
it says over 30 hours of gameplay, not a 30 hour storyline or anything, so that means over 30 hours of content in the game (story, sidequests, exploration, etc). i dont see how thats confusing? also im sure you can put in much more if you want, just like in most open ended rpgs.
Rangers can wield swords, of course. And warriors can use pretty much any weapon and armor. But there are weapons and armor that certain classes can't use.
Guys stop asking questions just wait Til it comes out. Theres a reason Josh is only answering certain questions. With the small cloud of mystery it leaves you wanting to buy the game to find out for yourself. At least ask good questions instead of the same ones over and over...
