I just hope this game will have a lot of sidequests to do. You always have something to do in oblivion because it has so many sidequests and it would make this game a must buy for me.
Yeah sidequests are more important than minigames, minigames get old but hunting out hard to find side quests was what made morrowind fun. And don't worry about disk space guys, if a game is good enough all other games will get deleted, it breaks me when I see people whinge about game size being too much.
You what would be cool, if there was some way to transfer save games from the iPhone version to the iPad verdin whenever you felt to change, I hope that they would bring it out to other games because it's frustrating having to start from beginning, when you can just continue.
The original beta had plenty of side quests, ranging from the "deliver x to y" type to "find the lair of x and kill their leader" type. I would expect that the revamped version will have even more.
just a thought, but if you could do this via bluetooth you could transfer your savegames anywhere from any to any device!
*OR* you could just have a server that you can backup your save file to. Really good for people like me who break their iDevice. (Snow and ipods don't mix well)
Will it be possible to customise the controls, or maybe change the size of the dpad? I imagine a decent amount of people will be getting this to play on their iPads at 2x mode, so being able to make the dpad smaller and move it closer to the corner would be perfect, as in a lot of games it usually ends up too far in from the side of the screen to use comfortably.
I agree!!! Morrowind was also great cause the quest directions were usually vague and required some actual thought from the player. If this game came in over a gig I would not mind one bit at all - I'll make the room. The Quest allows you to transfer your save games to and from your computer, I am betting there might be a way to implement something like this utilizing that feature in iTunes.
That will look beautiful on the retina display. Huge props to Josh and the other artists and huge props to Galoobeth Games for having the wisdom to partner with you!
:| I couldnt help but notice the small buttons and icons, does that mean that is an ipad version pic? :O
