    well most of the outdoor zones are done, minus one big one.
    bunch of dungeons left to do, the city needs a lot of work still.
    all of the shops are done pretty much, a few more enemies left to bring in.
    Optimization....
    we are definitely making good progress. I think Jason is going back to adding more mission content in a week or so....

    If I remember correctly there were quite a bit in the cities and towns and a few in the outdoor levels in small huts, that could have changed though.

    yes we are still going to try to support that.
    we've shown some armor pics on slide to play if you haven't seen them before.

    How can you justify putting this kind of work into a game of such epic porportions, especially doing so with a relatively small team, only to turn back around and sell it for 6.99 or less?

    You, sir, are a better man than me. Considering the appstore's relatively low ceiling, I would never go to such an extreme in creating an iDevice game, if I were a dev.

    You and that guy from Mission Europa. You guys are crazy.

    You deserve to be able to charge $20 minimum for a game like this and expect that people will pay it. Alas, that cannot possibly happen. Which, at least in some senses, is a shame. You guys over at CM already know that ultimately you will have to sell this game for less than $10, yet that does not curb your dedication even in the slightest.

    I will buy this game, no matter the price.

    no rush, devs, please make it as awesome as possible, then tell us its ready, then we shall charge down the ramps of the app store and clog it full of "buy".

    You, sir, have truly gave me slap back to reality. I originally planned not to buy it if it was at 4.99 or above. Now I will buy it any price with a smile on my face :)

    I'm really quite curious about this. 35 main line quests and 70 side quests are worthless if talent synergies give you a one-shot-everything skill.

    There wont be any one-shot kill ability for a well matched opponent. If you level up and deck yourself out in magical equipment from high-level dungeons and come back to the low level areas, then sure you can one-shot some creatures :)

    Combat in Aralon is medium-paced, and there is plenty of action going on for the duration of the fight. Using abilities, possibly switching weapons, casting spells, drinking potions, etc. So your average fight with a well match enemy or enemies should take at least 15-20 seconds, possibly more.

    The other day I was testing a rogue and I used stealth to sneak up on an enemy,backstabbed, and then followed up with a couple more abilities that landed perfect critical hits. The enemy was dead pretty quick, but even that took about 7-8 seconds or so.
