And iPad is way better for gaming than Iphone and much easier to control. You can make games that are designed for large viewing areas and add details like backgrounds you wouldn't even see or notice on the iphone or your fat fingers would cover up anyway.
It's a little harder to play with the iPad seated up and use your thumbs as opposed to the lighter iPhone.
Meh, there are only two months left of this year anyway. So, later this year or late this year makes little difference.
No offense buddy, but that may be the dumbest thing I've read on this forum. Check your eye-sight because I can see the detail on my iphone4 just fine, and I don't have to stretch my thumbs to move around. Larger screen for the ipad is great, but try playing a regular ps3/xbox360 game with a controller as large as the ipad. I guarantee that it will be much more awkward. N.O.V.A. for ipad had the same problems with controls being awkward.
it kinda is, galebooth games created the game and were basically ready to release it ages ago. Then crescent moon got interested and they partnered so crescent moon could make the graphics way better. Pluss do some other stuff. And yea ravensword was awesome.
Is it just me, or does anyone think that this type of game doesn't really suit the iphone? I'm excited to see a game of this quality and size coming to the device, but i'd much rather play it on a pc, (maybe even the ipad god forbid) i think it will be a novelty but rather difficult to spend hours on without getting a headache, also surely the battery would drain extremely fast
I think there's segment of the iOS gaming population that has no interest in playing a game like this on an iPhone screen. And that's fine -- there are plenty of other choices. The idea that games like Aralon don't "suit" the iPhone is silly, though. They suit this particular gamer just fine, and considering the excitement on display in this threat, I'm definitely not alone. Frankly, people should just stop worrying about what suits or doesn't suit the iPhone. Just figure out what you like and stick to that.
I think it will work out fine on the iphone the only question I have is do the controls fade or is their an option for this
I agree, I think the iphone is perfectly suited for this type of game, I mean iphone gaming is my main gaming device, more so than my pc and xbox 360, so when people are ambitious and develop console quality games for the iphone I am really happy!
