Pretty pretty pretty please is one of those things adding controls for 1st person view that controls exactly the same as 3rd person? Pretty please? As an aside, I - like many others - have been playing Sacred Odyssey. One thing that stood out to me (after coming straight from Aralon) in that game was that some of the NPCs walk around - it really brings the world to life: if you walk round Callaheim in Aralon, everyone is standing perfectly still. Just something worth thinking about...
OK - yes, they walk around maybe 3 feet from the spot where they are rooted, but I just went into Callaheim, and there were six people visible, all rooted to the spot, except the guard who walked 3ft one way then stood there again. All I mean is, give them a route to walk around the town - make them look real: it would add to the atmosphere that's all. In Sacred Odyssey I had people carrying logs walk past me - it just makes the world more immersive that's all.
+1 to that maybe make one NPC run somewhere. And the red and blue fighters should fight each other sometimes, and there could be a crowd around watching. I love watching NPC's fight to see who will win.
The red and blue fighter game is a bit dumb. You can bet on one, then kill the other yourself and win.
Lol I never even knew I could bet on who wins.... I killed all the NPC's in all of Callaghan long before. Sure now my status I s neutral and the NPC's respawned, but everyone in that area hates my guts now Speaking of the update, will we be able to craft items now? And will the store in Callahiem be unlocked now?
Please: MORE RAMDOMIZED ENCOUNTERS! not always the same monsters at the same EXACT place each time you re-enter the same area.... it really kills the "open" gameplay for me.
Also - got to say it - I've been playing Sacred Odyssey and while it is more polished, streamlined etc etc (as you would expect from a huge company like Gameloft) it does not have the character or depth of Aralon. Aralon has not been deleted from my ipod since launch day, and I still play it now. Sacred Odyssey is going once I've finished it.
So, my main question with the new update is...is it going to still work on my 2nd gen ipod? Despite some occasional crashes when I go into new areas the game played just fine for me.
Each build should be better optimized for the 2nd gen. However, no build has been a complete effort at 2nd gen optimization.
@Josh .. A massive content expansion would add to Crescent Moon's kudos so massively. The new Nintendo. ... (If you call me teh fanboi yor Gaia ! Lol)
