Hi cy@n! For all the AWD cars in the version you are playing, there was a bug found. When you press accel and brakes at the same time, the car would go super fast. I guess these players found the trick and use it to there own advantages. This have been fixed, in the 1.0.10 (newly available build). As i also changed the physics a bit in that version, i also updated the ranking so we everyone will start in a fair condition.
Thank you everyone for your support and comments, i read them all. A new update (1.0.10) is out. Here is the update content. - Added Sensitivity Slider for Accelerometer - Updated Physics - Redesigned Ranking UI - Fixed Portuguese language As the physics and the bug for AWD has been fixed, we reset the ranking laptimes. Its better to make it fair for everyone. As for the physics, there is a long way to go. its hard to tweak the physics of a game already out for the reasons you can imagine. Expect some more tweaking and adjustment in the future.
Thank you very much for this explanation. Can one still play with the old version and just set the records again using this bug or does everyone have to update for being able to set ranked scores?
Less fishtailing when running in straight line using accelerometer now. Don't notice much in terms of physics change. Find a bug when using accelerometer, hitting the gas pedal actually acts as brakes. I find this in the amateur test #4
Nope, if you use the old version you will record the scores on the old version table. That mean it does not interfere. Soon to come is a Ranking menu in the game. Basically you select a car, track, event and get the top 100 ranking. I hope i will be able to add that feature soon, its pretty cool.
Thanks i will have a look! Also, about the ranking menu, it would be nice to have ranking for license test as well. This is a highly requested feature.
Great! Both # The ranking menu is one of the most desired features # Besides: ghost cars and split times #
Hi folks, great update, the handling change is subtle, but noticeable (if that makes sense). it feels like there's more grip, but it's still tricky to be fast and nail the apexs. I Like the ability to adjust the tilt sensitivity, thanks!
Suggestions for Future Updates Cars: Mazda (RX-7 and Miata), Subaru WRX STI Great job so far. It sounds like there are some haters out there that will be clinging to RR3 for quite some time still. I never realized how arcade-like RR3 is until I got deep into this game. Well done!
Website Forum? Do you have any plans to create a forum page that we can access from your website rather than here through Touch Arcade?
Hi GPS, Yep, that's the way to do physics updates, little by little. Hopefully after few other months of tweaking it will be even better. Yes we are planning to make one. Right now we answer most of the messages on our Facebook page but it is getting really overwhelming.. I mean, i love to take the time to talk with my users, that is the best reward ever as a developer, but time wise, i would better spend my time on updating the game! A forum could definitely help because you can see the historic of conversations so we would not need to reply the same answer to everyone individually.
There is much room for improvement ... Try to beat the 54.xxx on the AR official track in time trail mode #
Loving the leaderboards! Adds much more dimension to the game when you can see familiar racers, I'm looking at you AudiR8cer and Cy@n #.. Great fun..
I'm entering the left turn at the end of the long winding road through the forest path way too fast in my GT-R 35. I can get it up to about 145 mph (in the stock race) and then miss the apex and slide through the dirt or brake too early and loose speed (and seconds). I'll get it... I just need more laps.
