Thanks for understanding, I'm a she btw Does anyone know if the change in app description will affect my application for a refund. Already have someone implying I'm daft for not reading the description, which I did but it's been changed. The dev says there were no issues on the devices in question durining testing.
Apology accepted. I'm not the type of of person to moan about glitches or occasional crashes and I've had plenty of apps that are buggy and have never applied for a refund, but to not get past the load screen? And on so many different devices and then to be vague with when a update may come seems a bit unfair, and I prob would have just left it if it was for me, but it was my daughters money. Had to figure out the refund process by myself as when asked on Facebook I was told by the dev that there were no issues on my devices when testing. This could turn out to be the best game ever, and I truly hope it does as it has so much great potential, but people will see the initial reviews and be put off, I won't leave bad feedback, even if I don't get refund but there are plenty out there who won't hesitate to leave one star based on this.
In this ever-burgeoning brave new world of online stuff, it's heartening to hear from parents who are working with their children to seamlessly integrate and understand the new options for play, financial responsibility, etc... Kudos! DBC
Steal art from Minecraft. Steal font/theme/gameplay from GTA. Give it a name that will show up in search results when people search for other games like Clash of Clans or the fifty million other titles with "Block" in the title. No wonder iOS is so profitable, its user-base are gullible kids with credit cards.
Yep. But, this adventure/action gameplay def hits the spot with me. I'm on the edge of my seat until the game is updated and playable. I also hope there will be easter eggs spread all across the map--different things to find/discover. That would make it plain rewarding for an adventure seeker. Eh, I'll do a mission every now and then when I'm good and ready. I want: Planes Vehicles, don't get run over Easter eggs Night/day cycles Random NPC events and shootouts on the street Clan wars (do missions for one clan, others progressively like or dislike you, defend/attack you based on reputation) Shops and currency would be fun too If it will be balanced, giving a locale-based and organic sense of security vs. danger, I'd be on it all the time. We'll see what kind of updates maigame will come out with.
Thank you for the kind words, off topic a bit I know but I know a lot of people who think that iPads are the work of the devil when in hands of kids and that 8 is too young to have one of her own, but that's small minded people who think they are only for games, the iPad has been a brilliant to support her education, they use them in school and her having her own at home is just an extension of that.
Agree. I dislike these comments that go something like: "HEY! Okay so like... I have an iPod 1st gen. Terrible game! Glitches and crashes and lags and shuts down." "Horrible game i give it one star! I'm rocking a iphone4 and seriously can't play. Gonna get a refund because these devs suck can't even get the game to run"... Your device is 30 years old. Tricks are for kids, you TODS.
You want GTA on iOS from a company that didn't even bother to reskin from standard minecraft textures in their game.
Sure. It's an easy style to do, fun to look at from a general perspective. GTA and Minecraft both have a certain content culture building niche playing styles they succeeded in. I'd play that if it is done well, also using developer's improvements or additions to enhance gameplay.

A real shame about all the negative feedback. Of executed properly this could be a real blast. Hoping they fix the bugs then looking forward to imps on the actual gameplay.
Aside from all the negative feedback has anyone actually managed to play this game and is the gameplay any good?The video above doesn't give a lot away.
The aim of the game is to kill all gang members in 4 different maps of the city. You starting at the top of the building and first experience is safely non-parachute jump to the ground. You have to pick up the weapons which are placed on the map and to start searching for gang members. They will start shooting on you as soon as they see you. Citizens are walking non armed in the city and they will only scream and run away if you shoot them. Cops are patrolling in security of citizens and will attack you only if you first pull the trigger. After you kill cop, in few seconds you will hear another siren sound and swat team will shown up with heavy guns. In the first mission they are not hard to kill. As you kill first gang , you will get new screen and next button to proceed to the second mission with new gang members which use new guns. They are bit harder to kill. Game has 4 missions and 4 gang type There are several types of weapons and the most powerful is snipe. Even you do the missions , take your time and explore the city as it is very beautiful and huge . There is number of buildings to see from high skyscraper to the sport arena
got my refund from iTunes. I may reconsider it if it ever gets updated, and turns it into a real GTA/Minecraft game. For now it seems more like an area shooter game. Has very high potential, but poorly executed.
