    ¿Hasta qué nivel has llegado? Piensa que poder pararte en determinadas situaciones ayuda mucho con los obstáculos móviles, en caso de hacerlo, creo que debería ser un modo de juego aparte ya que alteraría bastante la mecánica del juego. Para esto me gustaría saber qué opinan otros jugadores, espero que no te moleste.

    What level are you on? Being able to stop at certain situations helps a lot with movable obstacles, in case of doing that I think it should be an alternate game mode because it would change game mechanics a lot. I would like to know what others have to say about this, I hope you don't care.

    No para nada me molesta, solo era algo q me parecia raro que fuese asi por la dinamica de estar siempre en movimiento y no habia caido en lo de los obstaculos moviles, jeje aun no he llegado :eek:

    I doesnt bother me at all, i havent reached moving obstacles and didnt fall of that yet so :eek:

    Yeah, I agree... Making Choco run in those situations where he stays still would change the gameplay quite a bit, especially in the later levels... I really think it would make the game even more hectic...

    Though it might be nice as another mode... Hyper mode or something... For that extra challenge after we finally beat the game... =oP

    Just my opinion though... I'm wondering what others think too...

    You were right, there was something strange there, but the game took your score right.

    When you touched the portal, a few decimals went a little further without your time counter being updated, that was the bug there, and now is corrected and will be on the next update.

    Sorry I can't say you got 3 stars...

    I'm glad you were able to find something, because I realized that what I thought was a bug was really a user error on my part. :) Now I see that the level end screen initially shows 3 stars and will then drop it down to 2 or 1 as the score/time is computed. However, I quickly exited the screen while seeing 3 stars, and not realizing that the star count may have dropped (which it did).

    I do have one more question: how is level 11 scored? All of the other OF scores I've seen have gone from lowest to highest. However, level 11 seems to be the other way around. Is the final score calculated in a different way for that level?

    Features for 2.0

    We are closing the list for 2.0 version features of ChocoRun.

    These are the confirmed features:
    - Awesome new design
    - 20 new levels
    - Easy difficulty mode
    - Two selectable characters
    - Improved jump precision
    - Reset your run from pause menu
    - Openfeint button on level completion screen
    - Audio controls

    Those who asked for an easy mode can be happy... or not! Players who choose this mode will be forced to wear a cuuuute pink bow on Choco!

    That really doesn't depend on my skills, but my tools, so hopefully it can be perfectly working for version 2.0 but I can't say it's confirmed yet.

    The list looks great! I look forward to the update. I seriously can't stop playing the game. I've 3 starred levels 1 - 19, and level 22. 20 is crazy hard and the rest feel almost impossible at the moment. But I can't stop playing. I honestly feel bad for getting the game for free.

    I know you said that you might consider a local high score screen or something in a future update. But could you at least add the best time to the level HUD in 2.0? Where you put the current time, just add a '/' and put the best time after. I find I keep going into OF to figure out my best time.

    No way you feel bad about that! Play it! Enjoy it! ...and just help me a little making it bigger, better and stronger! :D

    Look, actually the game doesn't store scores on its own, it's for that reason I have to figure out a way to read OF values instead of just sending them or else your scores will be all at 0 locally when you first launch the update.

    If I do find some way to do it, be sure it'll be included, already searching for some docs.

    This has to be one of the hardest games I ever played . I cant even beat level 8. I love the concept but its to hard for my taste. I gave up and deleted it.

    That's what it's description shows clearly, it's HARD, I know and love that.

    As I've said previously, we'll have an easy mode in on update 2.0, by the end of august. If you can suffer wearing a pink bow, you should be fine with that mode and still get some challenge ;-)

    If you don't want the cuteness of the bow but you want to take another try on Choco as it is, the trailer shows some key movements to beat the levels, watch it carefully:

    Choco really is a though experience but tips like charging jumps while on air help a lot!

    I hope you come back , at least to check out the new features when update 2.0 is released, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

    Cool, gonna check this one out and Tobor for an iOS Super Meat Boy fix. Are there any other games like Meat Boy out right now?

    OK, I gotcha now! Yeah, that does make it a lot more difficult to display a local high score. Sounds like you have enough to do with the 2.0 list, so I wouldn't worry about local high scores at the moment. And I'll stop bugging you about 'em. :)

    Oh, and I finally got level 20, but even getting the #2 score netted me 2 stars. :eek:

    That is what I like about the game, it is hard, but not in an overly frustrating way. And when you initially see a sequence that appears impossible, and you finally figure it out, that is a great moment! :) You won't see me wearing a pink bow anytime soon. :cool:
