Hey Dustin Make sure you announce the game over at BoardGameGeek.com . There is a forum for Computer Based Games that also includes iOS and Android games. The Dungeon Solitaire thread is over 300 posts. LOT's of interest in this style of game on portable devices. http://boardgamegeek.com/forum/28/boardgamegeek/computer-based-board-gaming Cant wait to play this. Keep up the great work.
Sorry...an August release isn't going to happen, but hang in there, I promise you'll be glad about the extra stuff we're adding...it's almost like a whole other game is being built on the back of what we've already done the last few months. Honestly, I never knew so much time would be spent just getting rid of bugs and optimizing code so it runs decently across all devices. On top of all the new stuff we're adding, we want to make sure when you finally do get to play it the game doesn't crash all the time. I'm really hoping to have it all worked out sometime next month. Thanks for your continued patience! (...and here's looking at you)
Hello, and thanks for the tip I'll check it out! I'm a big fan of Dungeon Solitaire myself, but sometimes its a real punishing game to play. I'll definitely check it out maybe they have some good tips and hints...
Preview Artwork I was really thrilled with this new artwork from David Wright and decided to post it as a "Work in Progress" - there's a bunch of new stuff in the works, I'll post again when he's finished with it...
Thrilled? Why, this is a rather generic Fantasy/Luis Ruyo copy, sorry. If this has something to do with Necronomicon I expect a little bit more.
Sorry to disappoint you. I don't really see the connection to Royo's artwork, which are pretty much topless fantasy centerfolds as far as I know. However when the game's finished, and you see how this is used in context, I hope you'll find it fits appropriately into the scheme of things. (It's not a card type)
It´s just a draft, ok. But when out of context, as you said it is, it cannot hold up to H.P.L.`s ambient on it´s own. And as such it´s pretty none-evocative with a generic setting, like Ruyo. I´ll wait to see the finished App, for sure!
New Artwork I'm almost ready to submit the last batch of artwork and final game-play documents to our programmer, who will patch everything together in the next week or two, working on the new changes and additions I've made. Then the game will pretty much be done and ready to submit!
Any chance we'll see this on this side of September? time to freeze the code and put more goodies in the next update! please?
I hear you! While I want the game as good as it can be there are some devs that can't stop polishing their game with cooler and cooler features. There is a point where you need to draw a line in the sand and release what you have so far and release the new cool features as updates.
Yeah time to let the emotionally unstable and insane fan base make some comments on what you really missed to put in and how much it sucks. Just joking, .... I hope
Hell yeah! The nasty side effect of being nice enough to share with us consumers what you're doing. We just get antsy!
Hello All...Well unfortunately we probably won't see Necronomicon in September, but I'm pretty sure I'll at least have it submitted before the end of the month, which I guess isn't so bad since it'll give you something to look forward to and play through Halloween! But I'm seriously done messing with it, I'm just waiting for final artwork and a stable build to come back for testing (later today, I hope). But there's going to be A LOT of room for future growth and expansion (even full motion video sequences that play in game), so I hope you guys will give us some good ideas and feedback once you get your hands on it. I believe it will be a lot of fun, and maybe something a little fresher than a lot of iphone games being made.
some new artwork It's been awhile since my last post but all the artwork is on the fast track to being completed in the next week or so, and here's a couple of the most recent images for the game...1.) an unfinished matte-painting *work in progress* 2.) 1920's style Tomb Raider 3.) a room inside Miskatonic Library where something horrible just happened We still anticipate an October release so hang in there!
