So after slight tweaking, I finally got around to building my skill set (Including my final hotkeys, yaaaay!)

I'll post my elemental shooter build sometime tomorrow. =)

Buying Level 4 10 stat agility souls, 3mil each
Buying Level 4 10 stat stamina souls, 1mil each
Buying Level 2 Knowledgs Souls (Critical Increase, Overdrive, Assault)

No, connecting to the Hunter network doesn't cost any money, i think that the point that they're trying to get across is that you need an internet connection :p

ALSO, I found where the Knowledge lv2 souls drop frequently. In Tower of Sin, there is a map that is really tall, with lots of flying gargoyles. Just go in there, collect about 12 or so, and finish them off.
On that note, I'm selling Knowledge souls for:

    *Shining attack (pSlasher)
    *HellBringer (pSlasher)
    *Lightningball (elemental)
    *Fire rain (elemental)
    *Storm shot (shooter)
    *Illusion (pslasher)
    *Ice bolt (elemental)
    *Thunder Road (elemental)
    *Cross Pain(pslasher)
    *Power Increase (pSlasher)
    *Wind Mail (?)

I have more which i will update with later

~70 - 74: In the first base, go right one map, right one map, then take the upper most left exit and kill the mobs on the lower floor, or kill blobs outside the base for the first level
    ~80 - 87: first map of Stigia
~87 - 95: Teleport to makerusia and take the teleport back into Distia, walk into the next room, jump up all the platforms and collect all enemies, finish them off, repeat. Can be hard in the beginnning, but as you level up your damage will go up.
~95 - 99: In tower of sin, the very tall room with 15-ish gargoyle creatures

Edit: Level 99 now, Dragon and Demon tree down, Asmodeus and Hilram Left. Scar explosion with scar and poison really works wonders!! Only gear maximization left then :) anyone got any tips on where to get it? i suppose the best gear is the level 99 recipes? or the level 95 and above eq from tower of sin?

Edit 2: I can't seem to find Asmodeus (Evil God Quest, anyone knows his rough whereabouts?

Arbenus, Essence of Doom 8. Best Gear umm One lvl 99 recipe i am missing is the pants so far i only liked the accesory, the sword is lvl 95 set preffered. Gloves would be the same lvl 95 set, armor...so far depends on what build and stat you have maximized on. Accesory either a really good relic of treassure king or Soul of Peltos, i have one for sell for 1B with +46 to all stats...(46 vit/str/dex, 56 spi,66 knowledge)

Thank you for the information, I beat him now, though it was a long battle needing 10 Cubics -_-, you can't predict where he'll come from lol.

So how do you fight against Hilram? i've turned in the quests and visited the top of sin tower, but he isn't there, and none of the quest NPCs have anything new, have i missed something?

Yeah, but where do you get the quest to fight him? I've been to the three Towns, but there is nothing. Is there a prerequisite to get the quest? I'm hunter rank 10 btw

Haha thank you for the clarification, and I'm sorry; this thread has gone on for far too long, and even searching it for "Hiram" didn't yield much information. I'mma shut up and play now, thank you again for all your help :)

! So as far as gunner goes, I think Killing Machine is easily the best skill available. (As far as active attack skills go)

For each level, the number of attacks upgrade ( 5th level, machine shoots off 5 rounds, 6 bullets each, that rip through about a zero cutters range at 150% damage.)

That beats out Scar Explosion/Big Bang any and every day. =)

Here is a screenie of my hotkeys, and the only one that would be replaced is Shadow Hunting (Which is also a great skill for mobbing/training, but I find the shotgun keeps em at bay long enough for the Killing Machine to...Kill. )

Not necessarily. While I haven't gotten to the after game bosses yet, every boss so far hasn't been too much of a challenge. I juggle between assault and backstep (For escaping) the majority of the time, use fire rain as an escape/attack move. I overdrive in the air for the hangtime protection. Killing Machine lets me attack while healing or running around. And assault has such a quick cool down at level 5 and beyond (Each level decreases cooldown 2 secs) that I just rinse and repeat. I don't usually use the mines, as that's not my style, but occasionally I'll find a reason to whip them out on bosses.

we all have different styles :p, i guess i just like over powering bosses head on instead of running from one end to another but then again my gears allow me to do so plus i use no pots so its all gear and style wise however it does sound fun.

They aren't for flying lol, that power slows down time a little and makes you "invincible" for a set amount of time where nothing can harm you...
