Umm...I know the translation is pretty bad however it's not hard to figure out...yes the canal beast is at the bottom of the first set of dungeons by the waterfall. It means you need to put 3 lvls worth of skill points meaning 3 skill points...just like skill saids you need lvl 3 of a skill before and a certain level...Reading a little sometimes helps figure out the most basic of things...I am just wondering now are people really this newbish in all rpg style games? This is by far the easiest one i have ever played the only problem i have is figuring out who drops "strong soul" lol.
I found it. I'm now supposed to kill Tetenga. I found a door with red button on right side. I hit the lower button on the interface and there's a countdown. What does this mean? The door does not open.
Umm, did you pull down the lever to actually access the next set of dungeons? once you have access there will be a "buttom" so to speak which you step on for the next door to open.
yes, found the lever, pulled it, he says 'it worked', but I don't see any door. Where is it? On the left or right side? There is a door with a red button on far right side, but it's closed. And what does the countdown button do? It starts at 8. I can't find any info on this in the manual. I pull the level, there's a countdown...and then what? I run to the door on the right side and it doesn't open.

And what does the countdown button do? It starts at 8. I can't find any info on this in the manual. Why isn't there an indicator on the map where your goal is? This would be really helpful. As it is now, I'm running around in tha canals with no idea where the guy is. The room you're in flashes but it would be nice if there was an arrow to where you're supposed to go. This game is brutal. I found the water monster. Must have tried 20 times. Can't kill it. My fingers are in pain from whaling on the itouch. If it's like this on the 3rd quest already, I don't want to know what is involved later. I don't mind a bit of a challenge, but having to redo boss battles this often, or being forced to run back to camp to buy another ten potions is not my idea of fun. Too bad. It has some good points.
Game Impressions I got really excited and grabbed this game. It looked like Castlevania meets Ys. Awesome. It was only 99 cents. Awesome. Playing the game however is not so awesome. I would say it is decent but suffers from poor controls and of course a terrible localization.
Boy, we keep getting more and more interesting gamers... The point is to train a little before you actually aim for a boss aka grind. If you still can't kill a boss then it's time to get better gear aka hunting. The boss is to the right, obviously the lever opens the gate to the right so the choice is the right and keep going right until you see a spiked ball where there is a switch on the top section and a door in the bottom (I suggest saving before entering the boss room especially if you are having problems with the zerosmesh mini boss.) Wow, yeah you are right the controls are HORRIBLE , i wonder what would happen if you didn't have a pair of buttons to keep pushing and there were literally no controls to use other than your own fingers and you had to memorize where everything is. Actually the controls aren't bad, make them bigger if your fingers are too small...if your fingers are too big then make the controls even bigger (Quite frankly the controls are fine left for left and right for right, down for down, up for up...seriously how much more SIMPLE do you people want things to be LOL.)
Train a little? I've got five hours in this game and level 20 on strength and 1200 hit points. If this isn't enough grinding to take down the first level boss, it's just bad design.
The controls are just not really optimized for this device. Poor sensitivity and sometimes a lag input(I have a touch 3g 32gb.) All I am saying is that if these things were improved the game would be a class A title. Right now it is about a C.
for .99 cents...this game is great lol. reality is the game isn't bad, the controls are indeed for people who already know how basic controls work hence the dash option as well. If you know how to work the controls then gaming it up is easy, if they are too "sensitive" for your fingers i don't know what to recommend other than changing the controls to suit you best as far as size so you don't mess up for when you want to jump or dash or do a dash forward attack or vise versa.
There are 3 doors in Tower of Punishment right? 1 goes to the far left of the tower, and 2 of them leads to the centre of the tower. I pressed A at each of those doors but they dun open (I just end up attacking the doors). Did I miss something that I was supposed to do after fighting the fire guy?
Everytime I play this game I couldn't put it down for an hour+. This game is truly amazing. Yes the game text is poorly translated but everything about this game is just amazingly put together. I played the Elemental Walker tree as I heard it was the most difficult path (I don't want another pure-STR character build that makes the game easy for 5 year olds) and now after reaching level 30 I am really glad I did. The skill trees are so well put together it makes titles like Zenonia look like a kids' play. It's been a long time since I have played a RPG where I actually want to go level up and get those skills open up. The graphics look great for what it is. If you liked Castlevania games you will absolutely love this. The game music is also surprisingly decent unlike your usual Korean cellphone ports. So while the translation is really poor, the other elements of the game totally makes up for it. I just wished the devs could scale up the graphics more and shrink the buttons (not the button area just the graphic!). If you liked Castlevania, Megaman type games and you enjoy deep but rewarding RPG elements, you really should pick this up (well provided you don't mind touch controls, of course). I am actually surprised that this game hasn't been featured in Touch Arcade's front page yet (?) seeing how they write about so many retro games.
My gear? So I'm supposed to find gear? If I haven't found it already after five hours and hundreds of kills, where is it? Another thing that really pisses me off about this game is the constant 'buy life?", 'buy instant revivial?' reminders, which I have accidently clicked on numerous times. This is really annoying and shouldn't be seen anywhere except in the main menu. I bought the game and this makes it look like it should be a freebie. Map is totally useless. Doesn't show goals, doesn't show home base. Ugh. ...I've had it. Going to move on to something else now. Too much stress. Trying to make it back home from first boss, out of potions, no health, endless reloads. This is for hardcore masochists. Hey, if you enjoy having your arm fall asleep and getting numb thumb from endless mashing, this game is for you!
Umm if i recall correct, first you fight the witch then the devil and after that you aim for the upper level to fight the new "king" then you fight hilram...two boss battles.
Man, you really are new to games like this? Check out the market and snatch a deal here and there, if you have been playing for 5 hours you should have a great set of equipments.
lol, i didn't think people actually died in this game! are you not using skills? if your thumbs hurt, maybe your trying to hard to mash? its a touch screen mashing shouldn't be done, use light taps. *dunno about android* and developers usually don't design games to be amazingly simply and easy to play anymore, unless its a children's game. if you say you're level 20 and can't beat the first boss, then its your build's fault or your gear's fault. not the game, sorry :\ what's the first bosses level anyway 15? im pretty sure it had like 1200 hp or so, doesn't say.
The problem is, I can't find any more bosses in the Tower of Punishments. I'm stuck coz I can't open any of the 3 doors. Is there supposed to be any switches that open those doors? I can't seem to find any. Or are they suppose to open when i defeat the fire guy? Maybe its a bug.
