in the room of 5/6 levers there should be 2 combinations that pop up a message, both combinations should have a different message and a different boss. since you opened the fire demon, go to the left side and click the pillars to find out the combination for the ice witch.
News flash. Not all of us are hardcore gamers that spend hours on a game to advance a level, or enjoy twitch mechanics. Mashing ain't my thing. Itouch is just not made for that kind of play style, and I don't find it comfy at all. Yes, I used all my skill points, all into str and vit. I only managed to kill the sea monster by using guns after someone pointed it out. There are so many dead ends. Now I'm on the inferno quest, climbing up to upper canal, and there's a flashing portal. Oh good...I get there and there's a pillar blocking my path? This game needs a hint system like 'beneath a steel sky'. Aren't there any walkthroughs for this game online? I've got so much junk in my inventory, so many recipes, but can't make any of them. Need minerals to make a sword? Where are the minerals? None of this is explained anywhere, and it shouldn't take 70 posts here to make the game understandable.
Oh. Haha. Thanks so much. Didnt realise there was 2 combinations for the levers. Fighting the Ice Witch now.
Lol, truthfully if you can't follow the story at all then you are playing the wrong game. I don't mean to be rude to you however it's very simple and no...it took me 5 hours to get to malborose...with **** gear...
I can't seem to be able to defeat the last boss. The second stage is nuts. I'm a lvl 70 P.Slasher, how do you guys beat him and what potions do you guys use? Is my level too low?
well, i wasn't trying to flame you or anything. sorry if i worded it wrong. normally if a path is blocked would you not expect another path to be open, or requirement to open the path? in the first quest they tell you about minerals and picaxe. yes translation is horrible, no doubt, so hints must be guessed at. your map helps a lot with those kind of hints. use the strongest pots, and when the dragon comes, dodge it and then attack. rinse repeat. something like that, maybe pwnagingage knows a better way to explain
Well in his defense I did die or nearly died quite a manyl times around level 20 when facing the first boss (or near there). I had to walk all the way back to home to heal up before moving on because I was very weak and couldn't afford the potions (other than "mixing" them myself). If you are going for an elemental walker build (mostly INT, maybe some SPR) you will probably feel the game is a lot harder than most other RPGs. You will have to hit many many times to kill a normal enemy, making sure you stun lock all of them, and make sure nobody goes behind you. It really helps to dash often as you are totally invincible during dashing I believe. Pure Elemental Walker is very fun once you have the patience to get to level 30 or so. Gotta love the constant supply of mana! FYI Mental (the skill) and SPR points adds to mana regen (and health regen?) Wisdom/INT for magic damage. Once you have a steady flow of mana you should be able to pretty much spam all your spells indefinitely (with pots that you can surely afford by this point). It helps tremendously to get all the latest possible gear from mixtures prior to getting to level 30+, and get them upgraded if you can afford it.
Even on the iPhone 4 there seems to be a little bit of lag on the Jump input (which can be very annoying!). The way to get around it is to train yourself to pressing jump ahead of time and always jump before pressing forward (otherwise you might walk off a ledge by accident, happened to me a lot of times).
personally i like the walker skill tree, but the ice/thunder/fire set could be improved, more like diablo 2 lol! i went through the same thing and wanted to break the game so many times
Lol GJ, Welcome to hell mode...time for you to grind like never before LOL. I recommend the last dungeon of kanael (Slimes) there are 8 of them that you can gather up do that until lvl 75/77, then go to cave kenkuros in cave of darkness there level up until around lvl 85, then go to distia room before guardian boss has a ton of kenkuros which you can use until lvl 91/93 then your last choice is probably the first room of the tower of punishment map. Anyways have fun LOL...try out the different bosses to see how well your "skills" have improved.
The way i see it, there will be a update for that so no the game isn't complete yet however the korean version had a update but i can't read or understand korean to actually give you hints without having the updated version...i'll check different data bases and see if i can find it somewhere else as language doesnt mean much when i play lol.
I put in about 9 hours into this game, and I've come to regret it. Constant respawning enemies every five seconds, ridiculous platform jumping, total twitch system, no way points, no idea where you're supposed to go for a quest because your goal is never marked, useless map system, find your way through a difficult area only to be met by locked doors with no clues given how to open them, which then forces you to trudge backwards through ten rooms to get back home and replenish healing kits because you're almost dead from the respawns, quests always on the opposite side of the map, constant grinding, awful controls, so many things NOT explained. Hey devs, why not add some info about HOW TO OPEN A FREAKING SKULL DOOR? It took me trial and error to figure that one out, with no help from the 'manual'. It's like being Sisyphus pushing a stone uphill only to have it roll down again. THAT might actually be more fun than this game. Just terrible design. Not to mention the awful controls. I tried to get through the inferno level a few times, just met with dead ends, could not even find an online walkthrough. Finally deleted it in disgust. I should have known to stay away from buying this just by looking at the amount of questions on this thread about what to do and where to go to get this or that. That is NEVER a good sign. Hey, I saved about 20,000 gold! Is that enough to buy the nine hours of my wasted life back again?
Like i said, this game isn't for you. Go back to playing the simple type games where everything is handed to you and there are no real challenges. Yes many ask questions however most are game related as to where to train and where to acquire certain minerals, your question is more like "hey what do i do, the game saids make a oil bottle...but i was only given a oil recipe that saids i need a purified water and a herb, why wasn't i given the oil bottle??? I ALREADY PLAYED 6 HOURS and I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO GET THE HERB OR PURIFIED WATER! THIS GAME SUCK!@!@!"
Using ur training suggestions, managed to grind to level 83. Was wondering, what is the level cap for this game? I thought the level cap was 99 or 100 but I saw some monsters above level 100 in the Tower of Punishment.
After from 85 on it's pretty easy to lvl up, lvl cap is 100 however max lvl for monsters is 105 which means you only do about 75% dmg and take an extra 30-40% more damage. It's part of the game, more of a challenge i guess ...however still very easy to kill all bosses with decent gears in hell mode.
Did you even read what I wrote? What kind of ridiculous response is this? You don't address a single problem that I bring up, and I'm not the first one to bring them up. Why are you talking about recipes? I mention ten substantial things wrong with the game and he's talking about recipes. Brilliant counter point. Amazing defense. You should be a lawyer. No, I'll go back to 'good' games, not 'badly designed' games. There is a difference between being 'handed things on a plate' and not even being able to find the damn plate. If you enjoy banging your head on the wall, have fun! There is a difference between 'challenge' and 'bad design'. It is not a 'challenge' to fight through hordes of respawning (every five seconds) enemies - it's bad design. It is not a challenge to wade through a terrible map system without a clue to where you should be going - it's bad design. It is not a challenge to wade through ten rooms only to run into doors that don't open - it is bad design. It is not a challenge to have to figure out how to open a door yourself by trial and error because the game didn't bother explaining it to you. It is not a challenge to be hopping on and off elevators as a means of transport using a twitch system with lousy or unresponsive controls - it's bad design. It is not a challenge to put up with an insanity inducing two note music loop that would be better suited to eliciting information from terrorists - it's bad design. It is not a challenge to stand in one room killing respawning hordes for an hour in order to level up and get your health back because you're out of potions - it's bad design. It is not a challenge to put up with a horrible story, bad translation, and incredibly tedious questing system. Of course someone is going to say, "Yes, the early quests are boring, but just wait till you get to the good part!" Sorry, if the good part hasn't happened after nine hours of slogging, it's too late. If this was the ONLY game on the app store, then yes, I guess I would have to keep slogging, but it isn't. And even if it was, I'd have more fun taking up knitting. Last but not least, it is not a challenge to come to a forum every five minutes asking questions because the game can't answer them for you. Should I go on? The bad English translation is the LEAST of this game's problems. It never ceases to amaze me how some people make excuses for bad mechanics and bad games; protect it, defend it, like it's their baby. Get a grip. Take a break. You don't get a medal for beating a bad design. No one cares. There are a thousand games on the app store that are worth your time, that are challenging in a good way, as intended by the developer, as implemented through a well designed interface/mechanics/help system/story, etc, and not an exercise in utter futility. You are not here to FIX or BEAT the design faults. That's for the devs to do, or paid beta testers. I didn't get paid for this slog. If YOU want to bash your way through a bad design, like it's a badge of accomplishment, you go right ahead. Don't try to pin your freakish fetish on someone else. The game is FLAWED, and in more ways than one. Unfortunately, even the bad games have their supporters but it's amusing to see someone try to tell me that I need to play 'a simpler game', like it's MY problem. The game isn't for me because I enjoy spending my money and time on well designed games.
haha if you say "_insertgamehere_" sucks, of course people who enjoy it are going to say "no it doesn't, flame flame flame." trying to point out flaws is like saying, "oh the ps3 sucks because it used to play ps2 games but now they dont." so what? people still enjoy it. imo, you probably should've stopped playing the game after the first day you deemed it lame.
