In the full version if you play the "perfection" mode you lose a life for every "goop" that remains on the screen in the end. You GET a life for every 2,500 points but that is not the same as the endless mode (not sure what the lite was called - more like the full version's 500?) so you don't as many points per level. So the short answer is that in the full version you do get rewarded for clearing the board!
Nothing happens if you clear all the goop in the 500 game mode. In the full game, there is a mode called Perfection. In that mode, you progress through levels with your score while left over goop removes "lives" from you. So, it is most important to clear it all....hence the name "Perfection". As for changing the color of goop, well....the game currently has 3 of the 4 planned game modes. We have another mode coming out soon that has a bunch of gizmos that change the board as you are playing.
barely... I made it over 20K, barely.....if you have any codes left... It's quite a bit of fun. Definitely will show the kids this one.
