Some questions that are bothering me: How big will the city be? Graphics, like Gangstar(I know it's not the same graphics engine )? Or better? What missions can be done if you're ready with the story? I found this a little bad in Gangstar, if you have played the whole story, you weren't able to get more money (I hate these taxi missions :| ) Diffrent cars, how many? Tuning? Nascor

Crashes from the original PS1 Game I still have the PS1 version around somewhere...Classic game when it came out...Hope Gameloft do it justice on the Iphone/Touch.
WTF? Why are ideas of GTA, Gang$tar game engine, Driver mobile etc flying around. I thought that Gameloft had made it clear that this game is going to be the original 'Driver', ported from the PS1. No more, no less. This game is just going to be like the original, PS1 title: 'Driver' on PSP from the PSN store.
0:13 to 0:16, 0:23 to 0:27, 0:42 to 0:51 to 1:09 makes me think that the cars are actually Crazy bouncing balls... If you know & See wht I mean
Looks cool, a lot like a response to Rockstar from Gameloft (they'll get hurt if they try to outdo Rockstar), and something they think might beat Chinatown Wars. Should probably quit while they're ahead, still looks interesting though. Edit: Just saying, they aren't very similar, not, but it might be a slight reaction from Gameloft. Very slight, but they could modify it ever so slightly if they wanted to. Oh well, still looking forward to it.
Hope they've improved the game. After playing GTA games and going back to this, it's horrible in retrospect. So here's hoping!
Never heard of this... but found out a bit of info. Apparently the third Driver is like GTA? You can get out of the car? And it's the only Driver that had police? So will this be based on Driver 3?

This is no response/reaction to Rockstars announcement of GTA: CTW. 'Driver' (at least the original one) is nothing like GTA, or GTA: CTW for that matter. Gameloft is definately not tring to compete with Rockstar on this one.
Of course there are police. I take it you have never played/seen the original 'Driver'. It's just the gameplay consists of driving 100% of the time (hence the name ). So there are no on-foot parts, no getting in/out of cars. It's just pure driving. On another note, anyone who says this game copies GTA doesn't know what they are talking about. The game is nothing like GTA and this game partly inspired R* to make GTA 3 (first 3D GTA game) which they made 4 years later.
I loved Driver. I used to play it when i was a kid. Best. Game. Ever. (not really, but it was a great game.)
i to used to love driver when i came out all those years ago, it was the only one of its kind at the time. technically is great they squeeze it on to the iphone, but theres a tonne of games far more worthy of a port. i feel gameloft are taking a step backward releasing this, i wont be purchasing it =\
Oh God I hope it's a port of Driver 2... Me and my friends loved that game so much. Well, until Driv3r came out. Then we played that. But I have some awesome memories of D2 and I hope that it's going to be that. Oh, I just noticed that it's a direct port of Driver 1. It's still gonna be sick though. I'm dying for them to bring the second one though.
