I never actually played the PC verison, just the PS1 version.
The graphics look quite a bit better on the PC version, and by the looks of the screenshots from the upcoming iPhone version, the graphics will be just as good, if not better.
Definately a game to look forward to.

Okay, so it won't have a replay editor. But will it have a replay viewer?

 

I'm guessing the answer is no.
If I remember correctly, the only way that you could view the replay was to go into editing mode to watch it.
Although I might be wrong.

uh... no.
You don't have unlimited memory for an iphone game, and the game is already HUGE. So no replays...

i haven't played any Driver yet and i don't see any reason to replay any scenes

i hope it will have a good controls, i like Gameloft with their controls but i think you fail in Skater Nation

The reason for the replays is its like a racing game like a Burnout or something. You can do these crazy runs to outwit the cops, have massive pileups and even do some awesome jumps. Being able to replay them would have been nice, especially if you could then upload the video to youtube.

800MB seems very possible given the huge amount of textures (4 cities, each bigger than gangstar), videos (the original had loads of cutscenes) and audio (both music and voice work). Gangstar was 175MB and only featured cutscenes made using the in game engine; these are fully pre-rendered videos, meaning they will eat away the MB.

Just maybe 30 seconds, or a minuit of replay, won't take up much memory. Maybe 5-10MB.

OH MY GOD - I really hope I never in my life look like that. I would probably end up playing Driver in reality.

Any news on this game's release considering that Skater game is out? What are the odds it's in review? Thank God I don't have to wait for this like NFS regardless.
