So are there any other control methods? Moving your thumb frantically across the screen doesn't really appeal to me. The person playing it in the vid has superb thumb skills btw
They're using the original's physics engine, which was awesome, so i'm not surprised. This is basically just a new paint job for the original. Yeah gotta agree. Personally, I think any racer on this platform has to have at least adequate tilt controls. I really don't see the point in using virtual buttons for steering when a better, more realistic option exists.
all i can say is wow! this is now my most awaited game now we'll get console quality game of course it's a port
Too bad that console is a PS1 Nah, this game is alright. Already had my fill of it a long time ago though so I'll probably be skipping it.
The original physics code was done by a guy called Christopher Phillips who started about the same time at Reflections when I did... I remember he did a lot of prototyping in his spare time to the point where the Destruction Derby physics engine was dumped for his engine. It was the best car physics engine around at the time.
Didn't know that - I just knew the physics engine was great when I played it. It was so much fun to drive the cars. I remember Destruction Derby too that was pretty good as well. So did you work on the original as well?
it gets challenging when your getting chases by the cops with a nearly full bar. it gets impossible even with invincibility cheats they flip you over and you lose lol..
